Hundreds of Imran Khan supporters and his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members have created facebook fan pages and groups, twitter accounts, youtube channels and other social media accounts with the name of Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. They share new updates and other links daily about the raising up political force of Pakistan, Imran Khan and his party. Some time ago some users updated news and criticized Imran Khan and his party. Then his crazy supporters used very immoral and abusive language against those users which made Khan angry over his supporters.
Now Imran Khan released a video message to his supporters and party members to be "intellectual" and don't use abusive language. Imran Khan has advised his online supporters to reply “intellectually” to all criticism thrown towards the party by analysts. He Khan clarified that his party is only responsible for comments that are made by his official pages on facebook and the rest that come with the PTI tag does not fall under his responsibility.
“If any anchor, journalist or columnist talks against us, then we should criticise intellectually and not by using abusive words. People should see that these are PTI supporters who deal intellectually.”
Khan is now one of the most popular personalities as a political leader as well as a player, on the social networking websites. A lot of his fans make his photo their display photos or profile photo (DP). If you searche his name in facebook or any other social media website, you will find a lot of fan pages and users with his name and PTI pages. Imran Khan's official facebook fan page is liked by more than 3,36,000 people and PTI official fan page by about 2,39,500. Imran Khan's official twitter account is followed by more than 1,58,500 users and PTI official twitter page is followed by more than 21,600 users. And PTI official youtube channel has 1,653 subscribers.
PTI has an active media team which has a key role in the popularity rise up of the party and the chairman Imran Khan. The team also provides the live video streaming of the PTI rallys and other events to the world. The team updates news and information every second and replies to the questions and comments.
